For those that don't know... On July 4h, 1776, the thirteen (13) colonies claimed their Independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States. Each year on July 4th, also known as Independence Day, Americans celebrate this historic event. This Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America is marked as the birth day of our independent nation....

Thanks for the American history lesson, it was a good refresher crash course! It is interesting that both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died on July 4th, the very day we celebrate the freedom from tyranny so nobly fought. It is a good reminder of the blood, sweat, and tears that were shed, giving us cause to celebrate this holiday.
It’s pretty humbling to think that we can now freely purchase items from around the world with the click of a finger because of their sacrifices and American ingenuity!
